It was a Mother's Day that is very representative of our life. The gift Adam ordered for me never showed up. Walt's nap ran long so we ate leftovers at home for lunch. Which was okay because I ordered a movie that I've been wanting to see and watched it by myself while everyone napped (isn't it ironic that a good Mother's Day gift is sometimes relief from motherly duties). Then we joined some friends for an impromptu evening in the park with snacks and listening to a band. The planned things didn't go so well but the unplanned things were very special. It appears my Mother's Day was destined to be on Monday this year. The gift from Adam showed up and we went to a lovely Mother's Day dinner. So my Mother's Days 2013 were wonderful.
