Easter 2014

I am glad that we were able to participate in some Easter activities this year. Sam and Walt colored eggs for the first time. Kool-aid is great at coloring them without a terrible smell. We also got to go to the church for their egg hunt and celebration. It was cold and rainy but the kids loved gathering eggs, riding the ponies, seeing the animals, the bouncy house and train ride. We didn't make it to church but Adam hid eggs in the backyard and Sam and Walt loved finding them. Walt only found a few before he shifted gears from egg hunting to candy eating. However, it was a full week before I could actually take some mock Easter pictures in the outfits they would have worn to church on Easter Sunday. Easter candy is a great tool for bribery and we got some pretty decent shots.

Unfamiliar with Easter baskets, he decided it must be a hat.

Monkey see, monkey do.

Of course, Sam's is blue.

"Be careful with the eggs, Sam."

Petting the baby animals.

So happy.

My sweet babies.

Sam is so proud to be "holding" Annie.

"Cheese!"

Great big brother and big sister.

My girls.

Sweet Walt.

Asked Walt to cross his arms and lean like Sam. Good enough.

Sweet girl.

Slept through the whole photo shoot.

Here are a couple more pictures from the week:
